Italo-German pop · East Tyrol · two singles on Fullmax Recordings
Sara De Blue, born Sara Koell, is a singer, songwriter and actress from East Tyrol. Her sound is a modern, melancholic, Mediterranean brand of Italo-German pop: electronic textures meet pop and a hint of Latin, carried by a silky, clear voice. Her trademarks are blue costumes and a blue piano.
She trained at the Tyrol University College of Teacher Education (BA in music education and English, 2011), at the Tyrolean State Conservatory (jazz singing, improvised music, dance and acting) and at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz (BA in instrumental and vocal pedagogy, 2019). In 2012 she sang the Austrian national anthem at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck. In 2013 she reached the showdown stage of season three of “The Voice of Germany” in Team The BossHoss. In 2018 she came second in the San Marino selection show “1 in 360” with “Out of the Twilight”, and in 2019 she won first prize at the Romanian “Cerbul de Aur” festival in Brașov. Since 2022 she has been the resident singer of the ServusTV show “Sport & Talk” at Hangar 7.
